Unfortunately it's only available in the Premium version we're reviewing here, not the standard version. Fortunately, version 10 sees the introduction of Responsive Website Design, a feature aimed at addressing just this issue. We've long been impressed with its sophistication and ease of use, but when we reviewed version 9 last year we were critical of its lack of support for the highly variable screen sizes found on mobile devices. Overall Review: If the templates aren't "included" then don't say they are.Xara's Web Designer is a WYSIWYG web editor that lets people without HTML or web skills create professional-looking websites. If you have to pay extra, they aren't "included" but rather they are "available". Yes, the other company sells templates, but they don't count those "available for purchase" as being "included."

I've used another comparable webdesign software for more years than 10 years, but was lead to believe that this software would allow for responsive design which is not offered by the other company. Point 2: The majority of those available templates are "for sale", as in, you have to buy them in addition to the software. Also, individual graphics don't count as templates either. I know, I've downloaded templates before. Perhaps someone should explain that a template is all the pages for one site combined. Point 1: There are nowhere near that many templates included even if one counts each web page as a separate template. It somewhat does responsive sites.ģ000 templates? The copy tends to lead one to believe that there are 3,000 templates "included". Pros: 75% off the normal retail is really good.
